Scion of Opulence
This is an oil painting created for the Crimson Vow set of Magic the Gathering CCG.
I was so excited when I got this assignment. I had to show a vampire noble lady , sitting on a cushy chair. She should look smug while she’s holding a glass of blood on one hand and a watch on the other. Painting with oils is a long process. It takes an effort to make the paint stick on the surface and it dries slower than other type of paints. That is an advantage, if you want to work on a part of the painting for more than one session. I had so much fun painting this lady!
