Oil Painting Commissions

I’m able to offer my services to people who want to commission a bespoke work of art. Having an experience of painting characters and fantasy art for more than 10 years, I can deliver a realistic oil paintings of excellent quality. Each artwork is unique, therefore each commission will involve a discussion about the subject, the size of the canvas and any other factors that may concern you.

Painting from life is the best way if you want a portrait. But if you live many miles away or in another country, that’s obviously not an option. In our days that’s not a problem though. You can send me reference photos which I can use to complete your painting. As for a fantasy piece, things are even more simpler. Just let me know what you have in mind and we take it from there. The process is quite straightforward, as I will guide you through all the steps, from concept to final artwork.

You can rest assured that you’ll receive a work of art painted to last, which can be pased down to the next generations. I use the best quality oil paint available on the market today. I don’t use any medium, turpentine, extenders or dryers, as I want to preserve the properties of the paint, consistency, light fastness, etc. Last, but not least, I use Belgian Linen mounted on cradled panels that I either buy already prepared, or make them myself if the painting is quite large. All in all, the archivability of the artwork is guaranteed.
